Family Situation: Vardan gave his life on November 5, 2020, while serving in the 44 Day War. He leaves behind his wife, Irina, his son Marat (DOB 9/16/2006), and his daughter, Yana (DOB 9/26/2008). The family was forcibly removed from their home in Artsakh leaving everything they owned behind. The family did have an apartment in Yerevan, so the government did not give them any financial support for the move. Marat is continuing his education in Yerevan studying programming and found a job at the FLASH Petrol Company.
