Located in Worcester, MA, our SOAR Assumption University Group was established by Group President Lilit Kevorkian in November 2019 engaging Armenian and non-Armenian students in SOAR's mission to provide humanitarian relief to orphaned Armenians.

Lilit (pictured above, below in the middle, and on the left at the bottom) was adopted from Gyumri, Armenia when she was four-years-old. She received the opportunity to start the next chapter in her life in New York and is very involved in the American-Armenian community in the Northeast. She values her Armenian cultural heritage, loves helping others and was very excited to start the SOAR Assumption Group at her university.

Over the next two weeks, our group will be fundraising for diapers for Children’s Home of Gyumri in Armenia which serves children with special needs ages 6 years and younger.

Disposable diapers are very expensive in Armenia and they are always in need at Children’s Home of Gyumri.
