Special Interests: Armine is a keen observer and enjoys watching people. She loves gathering together with others in the evenings to laugh, think, and reflect. When someone makes a joke, she is the first to laugh and smile. Often times, she offers a joke of her own. She loves to work and help in the house, especially in the kitchen. She is eager to take responsibility for her life and to bring a spirit of diligence and responsibility to Warm Hearth. Armine loves to make carpets and weaves beautifully.
Immediate Needs: Armine is in need of sponsorship funds to provide for her care, medical needs, therapy, food, clothing, and to support further development of vocational skills and integration in the community.
Armine takes carpet-making, pottery, computer, and needlework classes and is skilled every handicraft. As part of the integration program, she is learning new skills for independent living: traveling by public transport, learning the rules of the road, shopping in shops, and getting to know the area. Her birthday is always a day of special joy for Armine!
Armine participated in "I CAN" 2022 Special Olympics in the rowing competition. She continues to participate in pottery, sewing, carpet weaving, and pattern classes and excels in all handicrafts. Armine also studies cooking and her dream is to be able to work and earn her own money.
