Family History: Arsen was born in Yerevan. After his father’s death in 2006, Arsen was placed in the orphanage as his mother could not tend to his needs alone. Since 2006, she has seen Arsen once or twice a year.

Medical History: Arsen suffers from CNS organic disorder, cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia, and severe mental retardation.

Special Interests: Arsen likes to draw and make sculptures. Arsen is friendly and very kind. Arsen is always ready to help the other children in the group.

UPDATE - OCTOBER 2022

Arsen still attends pottery classes. He has significant progress in flatting the kneaded clay on the table. He is able to get simple sculptures by using cutting tools. Moreover, Arsen continues to attend ''Chakhruk'' ethno-music group classes. There is also progress in the process of his independent feeding. He is able to use solid food himself using without anyone’s assistance.

UPDATE - JUNE 2022

Arsen is involved in pottery and wood workshops. This has helped to develop his hand and finger motor skills. Currently he is trying to use spoon himself to become more independent. Arsen has been attending the ''Chakhruk'' ethno-music studio.
