Family Situation: Albert was only 44-years-old when he died on the front line on September 30, 2020 defending Artsakh. He leaves behind his wife, Vergine, who is unemployed, and six children; Vitali (16-years-old), Levon (15-years-old), Gayane (14-years-old), Nushik (10-years-old), Erik (8-years-old), and Marianna (6-years-old). The family is in a state of post-war stress and during the war, the family was displaced from Artsakh to Vanadzor where they live today in a rented apartment. Thanks to SOAR, Vergine enrolled in baking classes to learn a skill and earn income for her family and is now hoping to open her own bakery!
