Family Situation: Armo gave his life on June 28, 2023, from a drone strike by the Azeri troops while serving in the Martakert and Martuni regions. He leaves behind his unemployed wife, Lyuba, and four children. His oldest son is married, and his second son, Vitalik, was wounded during the 2020 Artsakh War. Still at home are his two sons, Lavrent (17) and Artyom (7). Artyom has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare type of cancer that forms in soft tissue — specifically skeletal muscle tissue and usually in children. Artyom has received treatment, but still needs to take medication. The family is still living in Artsakh.
