Family Situation: Ninel and her three children (Milena-DOB 6/18/2011, Tigran-DOB 8/18/2018, and Gor-DOB 4/9/2022) were forcibly removed from their home in Stepanakert. Her husband went to get fuel for their car so they could use it to leave, but there was an accident and he never returned home. It was just recently that his body was found and confirmed with DNA testing. It has had a huge psychological impact on the family. Tigran has a skin condition, ichthyosis and a congenital heart defect. The family was living with her husband's sister and their family when they first arrived in Armenia, but because of poor living conditions, they moved to the "Mother and Child" shelter of “SOS Children’s Villages” Armenian Charity Foundation. Ninel wants to take hairdressing courses so she can support her family.
