Family Situation: Suren gave his life on October 6, 2020 while serving in the Artsakh War. He leaves behind his wife Hranush, his son Vladimir (14), and his two daughters, Mane (10) and Arpi (6). Hranush was taking IT classes to help provide for her family but had to stop because of sudden health problems with Vladimir. He has been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. The family has to go to St. Petersburg to get the 14-day hormonal treatments he needs which the family cannot afford ($2,500). Vladimir will be on medication his entire life. The family currently live in the Proshyan Village.
