Family History: Gayane had been living with her mother in Artsakh before being forcibly displaced September 2023. During the attack, Gayane was shot in the leg and received a severe injury. In Armenia Gayane was moved to Izmirlyan clinic and spent almost 5 months there receiving multiple surgeries. Gayane's mother is in palliative care at one of the temporary accommodations in Hanghavan. Warm Hearth took in Gayane as she had no place to go after being discharged from the clinic.

Medical History: Gayane has been diagnosed with an intellectual disability.

Gayane was displaced from Artsakh and had been shot during the war. After her recovery, she came to Warm Hearth. She said that her life in now much brighter and she has made new friends.
