Family History: Gohar was born in Yerevan. At birth she was taken to Children’s Home of Gyumri. She lived at CHG until March 1983. Her parents never visit her.

Medical History: Gohar suffers from mild mental retardation, cerebral palsy, glaucoma, and intrusive thoughts disorder.

Special Interests: Gohar has a good memory, she remembers the names of all visitors to the orphanage. Gohar likes to listen to music, especially the performance of Russian singers. Gohar has relatively advanced mental abilities and speech, but has a problem linked to her eyesight which creates difficulties to move freely. She enjoys communicating with adults, orphanage employees, and likes being the center of attention. She has 2 favorite children at the orphanage and cares for them. Gohar participates in summer and winter camps and in all events outside the orphanage.
