Special Interests: Hasmik loves to work with paper mache. Hasmik is a tender-hearted person, sensitive and shy. She is also deeply kind, smiles often, and has a heart that is always open. She often tucks her chin in and looks up out of the corner of her eyes to wait for an embrace. She is a somewhat solitary soul at this time, but we hope that she will develop deep friendships as time goes on. Hasmik loves babies and spends hours playing creatively with them. There is no one gentler at WH than Hasmik.

Immediate Needs: Hasmik is in need of sponsorship funds to provide for her care, medical needs, therapy, food, clothing, and to support further development of vocational skills and integration in the community.

UPDATE - 07/2023

Hasmik participates in pottery, rug making, needlework, and computer groups and also does paper mâché. She also participates in an integration program, learning to travel by public transport, shop at stores,  and learn traffic rules, etc. She loves her birthday celebrations and being able to go shopping for her gifts.

Hasmik participated in "I CAN" 2022 Special Olympics in the rowing competition. She continues to take carpet weaving, pottery, and sewing classes. She loves her birthday celebrations and being able to go shopping for her gifts.
