Family History: Metaksya lives with her mother and brother who have disabilities. The family has no information about their father. Regardless of social and living conditions, from an early age she resolved to learn and dreamed of becoming a child psychologist. Now she is in her 5th year of studying at the psychology department of Shirak State University. The mother is not able to provide the tuition fee: She has high scores and still determined to participate in final state exams and get her diploma.

Special Interests: She likes music and plays the Santoor. Learned hairdressing and nail art. Being interested in psychology, in 2019 she was admitted to the Department of Psychology of Shirak State University. She has volunteer activities at “Pyunik” NGO for people with disabilities, “Arevamanuk” Psychological Center, CDSS NGO. She is currently volunteering in frames of the “Mother and Child Health Program” supported by SOAR. Pregnant women participating in the program love to communicate with Metaksya and describe her as an easy-to-communicate, positive and friendly person. She is also interested in art therapy and speech therapy.
