Special Interests: He loves puzzles and paper mache, which are his favorite ways to spend the time. Roman is first noticed for his endearing smile and childlike fervor. He also loves music and has become the Warm Hearth “tech support,” operating the CD player and television. He often acts as the “DJ,” choosing music that everyone will enjoy. He dreams of opening a music center. Roman also enjoys being outside and doing exercises to build his strength. He has shown remarkable progress in that he is increasingly willing to try new things. In his own words, Roman wants to live a good, long life and be clever and friendly. He never wants to leave his brothers and sisters at Warm Hearth.

Immediate Needs: Roman is in need of sponsorship funds to provide for his care, medical needs, therapy, food, clothing, and to support further development of vocational skills and integration in the community.

UPDATE - 08/2022

Roman continues to do paper mâché and teaches it to the other residents at all the Warm Hearth facilities. He also takes sewing, pottery, and computer classes and loves doing jigsaw puzzles. Roman is happy he can celebrate his birthday every year.
