Family History: Sasun lives with his mother, father, brother sister, and grandparents. Unfortunately, the family is fraught with health issues. Sasun's father was a contract soldier in the Artsakh War, and now suffers from swelling of the arms, legs, and lungs. His mother suffers with health issues as well, including spinal disc disorders and myopia, while his 3-year-old sister was born with multiple congenital heart defects. The family took out bank loans to afford their daughter's medical treatment, but had to sell their home to meet the payments. They were able to purchase another home, but it is in very poor condition lacking basic amenities and in need of numerous repairs.
